Latest Updates from Our Project:

Multi-color, Monitor Mounts, and Extra Acrylics
almost 9 years ago – Mon, Jun 22, 2015 at 03:08:38 AM

YOU ASKED FOR IT! YOU GOT IT!!!

We had a lot of people message us directly, and we have some news we think you're all going to love. All connected tiers will come with Multi-color RGB LEDs. This means you will be able to change the color of the sign to the color your heart desires. The single exception is the pre-release version. Because it only has an on/off switch, there is no way to change the color.

Extra Acrylics

We've had a number of backers ask about extra acrylics. You don't need to buy a second base to change the message of your sign. Any tier can add a standard acrylic sign for $10. You can add a custom acrylic sign for $15. As long as you're ordering a base, you do not need to add shipping for signs. Just add $10 or $15 to any tier and when we send out the surveys we'll provide a way for you to tell us what you backed, and what you want etched into your acrylics.

Stretch - Monitor and Door Mounts

This means that the monitor and door mounts are the $65k stretch goal. We'd love to meet this goal, if we meet it you'll be able to add a mount to your order for only $5. Share with your friends, share with your bosses, share with the press. Let's reach this goal.

This has been the most amazing ride. We're so grateful for your support. Thank you for your kind words. Don't forget to share. We only have 5 days left!

100% Funded, Many Thanks, and Stretch Goals!
almost 9 years ago – Tue, May 19, 2015 at 11:56:06 AM

WE HAVE BIG NEWS! WE DID IT!!!

Thank you so much for pushing us through our goal of $25,000! We're humbled, grateful, and extremely excited to move forward! We've already been in touch with manufacturers, finalizing parts, and getting ready for production on all of your orders.

We have a few more tricks up our sleeve in the form of Stretch Goals. Including a previously unannounced new Stretch Goal:

$50,000 - Arduino Stretch Goal

This goal unlocks Arduino access for all of you tinkerers and Arduino fans out there. We'll give you our frameworks for working with the sign, and unlock the hardware for you to bend the sign to your every whim. If this goal is unlocked every USB sign will get Arduino for free. To get Arduino with the Bluetooth signs it will require $5 more for each sign.

$65,000 - Choose Your Own Stretch Goal!

We want to give you awesome people a "Choose Your Own Adventure" for our next Stretch Goal. At $65,000 you can choose one of our other available stretch goals to bump up, or even come up with your own. Take your pick from the multi-colored RGB signs, iBeacon Support, or the special Monitor Stand or Wall/Door Mount.

Vote by commenting on this update. Then be sure to share with your friends so we reach it!

We have other stretch goals as well, including HomeKit. We'd love to hear any ideas you may have for the project.

Thank you so much! Let's keep this rocket ship going! Share with your friends, talk to your bosses, and get your orders in!

Wired In Support for Android and Windows
almost 9 years ago – Sat, May 09, 2015 at 05:36:58 PM

Wow, what an amazing first 5 days. We're already at 300 backers and have reached almost 75% of our goal. Thank you!

We have one big announcement, and one favor to ask. First the big announcement:

Announcement: Wired In signs will now support Android and Windows

Thanks to popular demand, we're going to move the development of Windows and Android right up there with project completion. If the project funds, there will be Android and Windows apps alongside our iOS, Apple Watch, and Mac applications.

The Android app will support Bluetooth signs, and the Windows app will support USB signs. Computers running Windows 8 with Bluetooth 4.0 built in will also be compatible with the Bluetooth Wired In signs. We're looking into third party drivers for support of earlier Windows versions. We'll keep you posted.

Favor: Please share this news

We know you already shared Wired In with your friends on Facebook and Twitter. Thank you so much.

We also know that there are a host of Android and Windows users that came to check out our project and decided to skip it because we don't support their devices.

Hopefully we can spread the word quickly that Wired In now supports these other platforms. Here are some of the places we'd love your help:

The links include messaging about the new platforms: "Wired In signs on Kickstarter. Now supporting Android, iOS, Mac and Windows. Go check it out! http://bit.ly/wired-in"

Thanks so much for sharing, we couldn't do this without you. As always, let us know if you have any other questions.
